Okay, so I've been asked the question why the Percussionists are after the Lyre and not the Trumpets. Well, it's relatively simple, really, but I guess it's kind of hard to see if I didn't explain it. The Snares/Quads/Drum Major=the Ringwraiths, men corrupted and turned to Sauron's devices. So...the Trumpets were "corrupted", and now they're Percussionists, and that's why the Percussionists are after the Lyre.

As it stands in my little Steno notebook, Legolas's alterego is named "Leonardo". The name might change, just as soon as I get a hold of BehindtheName.com. Anyway, "Legolas" is the first chair clarinet. I was trying to draw a cartoon of the LOTL Legolas, and the first thing that came to mind was the "rich kid look"; he's got blond hair that's kind of bobbed above the ears, with the whole dark sweater thing goin' on. He's kind of like Haldir was made out to be in the movies; kind of arrogant and pompous. Which is really only to "Gimli", but yeah...so that's "Legolas" for you. Hopefully I can come up with a better name.

A reviewer on ff.net asked for a discription of LOTL's version of Legolas. So, IAP, here you go.

My "Legolas" is a bit of a parody on the PJ version of the character, exaggerating an underlying stuffiness. Thus, I'm making him a snobby rich kid. You know, the classic sweater-over-button-up-shirt look, with his weird rich-kid hair cut. "Legolas", like the rest of the Silvan Elves, is a clarinet player.

Well, that's about all the description that I can really give you at this point. You'll just have to wait for the rest. :)

Tonight's issue; the plot-less monster that is "Legolas in the City".

First of all, I guess I should have mentioned right off the bat that this thing was just some plot-less, rambling idea inspired by a very strange song. I had fun writing it, though. And that's all I'm in this for; fun. Okay, and the fact that you all get to adore me...when I'm good, anyway. And I was generally just poking fun at Legolas, because he's so easy to make fun of. Shame on me. No, I was not dissing St. Louis; it's practically in my backyard.

That's my story and I'm stickin' to it.
